In previous posts, we’ve looked at celebrities who seriously need tattoo removal, but what about celebs that have already undergone the process? There are many reasons for having tattoos removed, and celebrities are no exception. We’ll now take a quick look at a few big names that made the decision to go under the laser.

50 Cent

The famous rapper and movie star made the decision to ditch the ink in order to pursue his movie career. His decision came as a result of having to sit through hours of makeup covering up his tattoos. Now that is some serious commitment.

Angelina Jolie

Jolie said goodbye to her old life when she had the name of famous ex, Billy Bob Thornton, removed and replaced with the coordinates of the birthplaces of her children. Good choice Angie!

Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards

Breaking up is never easy, least of all when you have a tattoo declaring your undying love for that pesky ex. Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards learnt their lesson the hard way after their break up when they both sought to remove their love stamps.

Mark Wahlberg

Hollywood’s nice guy decided to have his tattoos removed as he didn’t want his kids making the same mistakes. He even took his two eldest children along with him to more than 20 of the sessions! That’ll teach ‘em, right?

Megan Fox

Maybe she’s been reading our blog, maybe she just came to her senses, who knows? But Megan Fox is undergoing laser tattoo removal to erase her Marilyn Monroe tattoo, and possibly more, as, according to an unidentified friend, “she has grown up a lot in the last few months”.

Britney Spears

Britney has many questionable tattoos, including a pair of pink dice and a tasteless pair of lips. But with all those terrible tats to choose from, she opted to remove the Kabbalah inspired text on the back of her neck. Granted, it was misspelt, but really? Fingers crossed she’ll make a habit of it and get those lips removed too!
